Facebook rolls out new features for iOS users

Facebook is rolling out two new features for its users on Apple's iOS mobile operating system. While the first feature automatically generates slideshows out of images and videos, the second is an addition to the company's
Facebook Events feature that lets users access hand-picked Events, including the ones that are not on Facebook.

Flipping through photos and videos that other people take during their vacations are boring, so Facebook has decided to liven things up a little bit via their new Slideshow feature. Slideshow, as its name suggests, automatically churns out themed clips of photos and video that you take to make it more appealing to watch and share.

All you need to do is to take five or more photos or videos in a 24 hour period, and then Facebook takes care of the rest. The auto-generated clip can be customized depending on your tastes, and users are able to choose music and themes as well add or delete photos and videos depending on their whim.

Right now the feature is only for iOS users, but you can expect the social media giant to come out with the same feature for Android devices in the coming days.
