Niger Delta Avengers blow up NNPC, others’ facilities in Delta

Despite the federal government’s proposed peace talks with rampaging Niger Delta militants, The Niger Delta Avengers has announced fresh attacks on major oil and gas installations in Nigeria.
The militant group said it carried out attacks on facilities operated by Chevron and the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company, NPDC.

Affected in the renewed hostility include two major oil wells, well head 7 and 8 situated near Abiteye flow station in Warri South West Council Area of Delta state.

Also damaged by the militant group were two major crude oil trunkline operated by the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company close to Batan flow station.

NDA confirmed the attacks in a series of tweets in their twitter handle.


  1. At 1:15am on Sunday blow up two major Chevron Oil Wells. WELL 7 and WELL 8 close to Abiteye flow station in Delta state.
  2. ALL FIVE OPERATIONS WAS CARRIED OUT BY STRIKE TEAM. WELL DONE SOLDIERS.
  3. At 11:26pm on Saturday blow up two NPDC major crude trunk lines close to Batan flowstation in Delta state.
  4. At 9:15pm on Friday the blow up Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Crude Oil Trunk Line to Warri Refinery.
